Ryan and I had a bit of a rough weekend, battling out a cold/virus/infection that Ryan brought home from So Cal. Don’t worry, it’s not the swine flu! He’s a trooper and didn’t let him get too down. Truthfully, it was just nice to have him home a few days early last week, and to spend time with him, even if it involved spending a lot of time napping or resting on the couch. I think I’ve picked up the tail end of his bug though… we’ll see what develops.
We didn’t do a whole lot over the weekend besides trying to recover, but did get the pleasure of attending the first wedding of “wedding season”. It’s one of 4 that we know we are attending over the course of spring and summer. Saturday, the lucky couple were our friends Jody and Michelle. They make such a sweet couple and had a lovely wedding in Fresno. My regret is that I didn’t get many good pictures (took the wrong camera), but take our word for it, it was beautiful. We wish the very best and a marriage full of love and blessings. Congratulations Winters!
The wedding put me in a kind of sentimental mood. Ryan and I just celebrated 6 months of marriage on May 1st (and celebrated with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory!). It’s been the best 6 months I could ever imagine!
